I know that many of you are looking for the perfect mate. And you probably have a list of qualities you want in that perfect mate. Well, let me tell you right now. Strike honestly off that list immediately! There is such a thing as being too honest and believe me…it’s not pretty!

As I mentioned I had a pretty bad cold with laryngitis on top of it. It has been a long slow comeback but I am finally back to my normal self. The other day Husband and I were talking and I mentioned I was back to normal except for not being able to sing yet. I could talk finally but trying to sing my voice would crack and leave.

All too honest Husband then informs me that “you never could sing anyway so no harm done”.

I tell you, I wanted to smack him right then and there if it weren’t so funny.

So if you are making a list for the perfect man make sure you include a good sense of humor and reliability. Those two things will get you much farther than honesty any day!
